We started off the morning early with some cozy cuddles on the sofa and a few movies. Thanks to Disney+ we got to watch Shipwrecked (1991) and The Sign of Zorro (1958). I have to admit as a Boy Mom I love getting to enjoy masked swashbucklers. I’m not saying I don’t love a good princess movie but this is way more our style.
After watching Guy Williams save the day with the mark of the Z, we decided it was time to make some Holiday treats...because why not? It’s the holiday season and we are home. So out came the supplies needed to make gingerbread cookies!! Luckily, I had just picked up some new cookie cutters (Thanks again Target $1 spot).
As we started on our little gingerbread army of yumminess, we found out that Kyle would be coming home early from work due to the weather (YAY!). This meant that be would be home just in time to help decorate our little creations.
The rest of the day was full of video games, cookie eating, and lots of giggles. The best part is...we just got the call that we get to have another Snow Day tomorrow.
