High Five for Friday!

Happy Friday Dolls! I saw this on From My Grey Desk and thought I would link up. I hope you all are planning a fab weekend and enjoy.

1. I was in a great mood Monday. I ran my early morning errands and got ready for work. I even happened to take a quick shot of my hair with my phone just because I thought it looked cute that day. THEN IT HAPPENED...I walk out the door to head to work and my front door would NOT close (Ahhhh!). If you have read my blog you know I have been having trouble with my front door for a while. I even got stuck (yes, stuck!) in my condo one day and had to have someone pretty much break down the door to get me out. Anyway, I called my landlord and told then what was happening. Long story short, they couldn't come for a few hours and I couldn't leave my door opened like that so I was late to work and it made my whole day turn. On the bright side I have a wounderful boss who understands that stuff happens in life and was way nice about the whole subject.

2. Yum for love cupcakes! This little guy my day awesome. Sometimes it really is the little things that make all the difference in your day. Again I say to you...YUM!

3. I got to wear my new H&M dress and I have to say it just made me feel pretty. Always a good feeling and it just brightens every part of your day. I L.O.V.E. days like that!

4. My Steve Madden shoes make me smile...enough said.

5. SNOW!!! I know it's not a lot but this has been a sad winter for my beloved snow and beggers can't be choosers. I was very happy for what we got but I would love to see more.

A Week in the Eyes of My Phone...

Hello Dolls! It's been another busy week for the Magpie. I did however have time to take a few shots during the week for a little post I like to call A Week in the Eyes of My Phone.

Monday...

Monday was a normal work day however during my lunch break I did treat myself to something fun. I found and bought a pair of zebra chucks. I have always loved a pair of chucks for a casual errand running day. These just happened to have a extra kick with the zebra print. How could I not get them?

Tuesday...

Tuesday was my day off and I got to spend it with this little charmer. As you can see he has learned to pose for the camera(phone) like a little super model. The best part is when I put on a broadway soundtrack and he goes crazy dancing and laughing. So sweet!

Wednesday...

Yes, I know it is now February but I have been so busy that I am just now getting around to putting away my Christmas decor. Plus this was not the best of days. I opened that morning and when I got off I when home to find that my front door would not close. When I finally got it to close I remembered I had left my planner in my car. I started to run out to get it and found that I could no longer OPEN my door. I tried and tried but I was now trapped in my house...great! It was so bad that it took taking the door knob off and Matthew breaking (Yes, BREAKING) in the door to get me out. Since I couldn't go anywhere I had time to put some stuff away. Then after all that I got to go back to work till 1am. All in all, I and safely say...this day kinda sucked.

Thursday...

Thursday I found another new mommy job that I get to enjoy. My son has this little pig that he just loves and so he always has him with him. Needless to say any toy that a 12 week old has with him 24/7 is going to get spit-up on and is not going to stay clean for very long. Like I said the Boo loves this little guy so I couldn't take the chance of losing him in a tragic washing machine accident so he got a bath in the bathroom sink with baby shampoo.

Friday...

Friday Funday! I got off work early so I used the day to run errands and do some shopping. I got some new jeans(yay), some new tops(yay again), and two pair of $60 dress shorts for $8.99 a piece(YAYx20!!!). What can I say I love a good deal.

A Week in the Eyes of My Phone...

Hello loves! It's been a busy week for the Magpie what with starting back to work and getting back into the swing of thing. I did manage to snap a few shots during the week for a little post I like to called A Week in the Eyes of My Phone. I hope you enjoy.

Monday...

Monday brought me back to my job after having my son. I put together an outfit of a tan and black striped top under my classic black blazer (both from H&M). A pair of dark skinny jeans (from Express) alone with my sliver and gold chain necklece (from NewYork and Company). For my makeup I did a fresh face, light eye and red lip. I have now and always will love a nice red lip! If done right it can make any outfit.

Tuesday...

Tuesday was a great day for some retail therapy. I stopped by Victoria's Secret for thier semi-annual sale and picked up a PINK white tee, a new makeup bag and a matching tote. Then it was off to Bath and Body works Hello Yellow! sale where I picked up some new hand soaps and body lotions. As you can see I got the Shea Cashmere & Silk body lotion and it may be my new favorite. It makes my skin feel and smell so good.

Wednesday...

Wednesday I did some health food shopping for myself. I picked up some Clif bars for the mornings and some bottles for different juices and coconut water. I also picked up some curry chicken and veggie meatballs made of eggplant. This is the first time I have tried the veggie meatball so I will get you all know what I think of them when I make them.

Thursday...

Thursday was my day off so I ran my errands and took my little guy to his two month doctor's appointment. Shots were involved on this day so after the appoinment we had to treat ourselves by getting him a new blanket and me some Starbucks and a sweet. Then we came home to cuddle up and enjoy some Kardashians.

Friday...

Friday's mail brought my new shoes that I ordered. I had been waiting for them so it made my day when they finally made it to my door. I also ordered some knee-high tan boots that came but I have to send them back because they sent them with to me with a broken zipper. Not to happy about that but as long as it can be fixed then it's all good.

...and that's my week in the eyes of my phone. All in all a good week and I hope to have more like it. I think I might do more posts like this because it was a fun thing to do.
